Important update: There are no plans for introducing a new desktop program. You can read more about that in this article. Not only that, if your files are not downloaded for a longer period they will be deleted. That means that you will have to sign in once per year to keep your account. The free version of MediaFire includes short-term storage. The size of the files you upload also increases to 20 GB.
